“I am excited to announce the nomination of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to serve as U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS). For too long, Americans have been exposed to deception, misinformation, and disinformation when it comes to public health. There are,” President Trump wrote. “The safety and health of all Americans is the most important role for any administration, and HHS is dedicated to ensuring that everyone is protected from harmful chemicals, contaminants, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, and food additives. In response to the nation’s overwhelming health crisis, Mr. Kennedy has made these institutions the gold standard to end the epidemic of chronic disease and make America great and healthy again. will return to a beacon of scientific research tradition and transparency.”
Mr. Kennedy ended his presidential bid as an independent in August and endorsed Mr. Trump, but he has a long history of supporting conspiracy theories and has been rejected by his prominent family members. Among his bizarre theories are that the environment turns children into transgender people and that vaccines cause autism. He also says that HIV does not cause AIDS. That’s right.
His campaign was marked by many strange stories. He “was accumulating negative headlines, including allegations that he had molested a former family babysitter (to which he declared, ‘I’m not a church boy’); a fake scene in New York’s Central Park; Kennedy’s claims that doctors discovered a parasite in his brain more than a decade ago. NBC News reported earlier. He portrayed both himself and President Trump as victims of the media and the political establishment, claiming that President Joe Biden and current Vice President Kamala Harris have authoritarian control over the Democratic Party.
“Americans should be able to trust that our health care system is led by experts who believe in science and want to protect the health and well-being of our nation,” said Human Rights Campaign spokesperson Brandon Wolf. said in a statement. Advocate: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. lacks the qualifications and judgment to manage the Department of Health and Human Services. The views are dangerous and harmful. Donald Trump is hell-bent on filling the federal government with unqualified supporters, and the American people will suffer as a result. The Senate must reject this nomination.”
