Pop Superstar Demi Lovato will be serving LGBTQ+ travelers in particular at the grand opening of Tryst, a new luxury boutique hotel in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico on Friday night. Not only did she make performances, she also showed support for LGBTQ+ fans on her drag branch.

The star-studded event highlighted the hotel’s expected role as a premier destination within the LGBTQ+ community, attracting a considerable number of celebrities.

Among the notable guests celebrating the launch were Jennifer Coolidge, Erica Jane, Cynthia Bailey, Sonja Morgan, Antoni Porowski, Julia Fox, Loverne Cox, Chris Storrs, Sam Asgari, TS Madison, Kate Del Castillo, Matt Rogers and Chris Appleton.

The festival began with a high-energy red carpet opening night party hosted by charismatic actor and comedian Matt Rogers. Lovato, 32, created a stylish entrance and posed for the photographer in chic hues and casual denim outfits before taking the stage. The Grammy-nominated artist treated the enthusiastic crowd to a performance of the summer 2015 national anthem, “Cool for the Summer,” sparking the dance-filled atmosphere that permeated the evening. The background of the music at night was skillfully curated by the well-known DJ Leland, as reported by the gays.

Tryst is the brainchild of entrepreneur Tristan Schukraft. Schukraft envisions a haven for LGBTQ+ individuals seeking a luxurious and welcoming travel experience at Puerto Vallarta, already established as a global LGBTQ+ destination, as stated in Gaty’s extensive Puerto Vallarta LGBTQ+ travel guide. Schukraft reportedly has plans to expand its Tryst brand in future additional locations, demonstrating its commitment to creating a more inclusive space for the hospitality industry’s LGBTQ+ community.

During the grand opening, Lovato spoke eloquently about the important importance of dedicated LGBTQ+ spaces like Triest, highlighting their importance in the current social and political situation. “I feel these spaces are essential right now,” Lovato said. “We know that there is a space where you are exactly who you are… When we travel, we want to feel safe, seen, blessed, and chosen families are strong.” Lovato’s sincere words resonated deeply with participants, highlighting the need and assessment of an environment that prioritizes inclusion and acceptance.

It was actress Jennifer Coolidge, a special guest at the grand opening, who added her voice to the chorus of support. “White Lotus” star, 63, reflects the feeling that the LGBTQ+ community has a unique ability to celebrate and enjoy life. “I think it’s gay men and gay women. They know how to have a good time,” Coolidge said.

The grand opening weekend was not limited to overnight Revelly. The celebration continued with a diverse lineup of entertainment designed to showcase Triest’s commitment to providing a vibrant and inclusive environment. On Saturday, April 26th, performances by talented singer Vincinto and a captivating drug artist were featured along with another dynamic DJ set. Famous drug performer Siakleire found a special drug brunch and added daytime talent to the weekend festivities.

These events, coupled with a rich array of entertainment and amenities tailored to the LGBTQ+ community, helped highlight the core spirit of Tryst in order to provide luxurious accommodation. The hotel is meticulously curated to create a welcoming and positive space for guests, including a stunning rooftop pool with panoramic views, gourmet dining options that cater to a diverse range of palates, and a variety of entertainment options.

With a direct message to her LGBTQ+ fanbase around the world, Lovato provided unwavering support and words of affirmation. “Know that you are loved, you will be seen, and you will be celebrated,” Lovato reported. “Pride is celebrating exactly who you are and just love so you can feel it.” Her powerful message resonated deeply with both participants and online fans, reinforcing the fundamental importance of acceptance, visibility and celebration within the LGBTQ+ community.

As Tryst officially opens its doors and continues to host events, it will become an important addition to Puerto Vallarta’s already thriving LGBTQ+ scene. A hotel represents more than just a place to stay. It embodies the power of inclusiveness and joy found in the community, providing luxurious and clearly welcome destinations for LGBTQ+ travelers around the world. The epic opening, headlined by Demi Lovato and attended by many supportive celebrities, marks a promising new chapter for LGBTQ+ tourism at this popular Mexican destination.
