July 27, 2026 Moon nodes change signs – North Node enters Aquarius,and South Node enters Leo. The Nodes will remain in Leo and Aquarius until March 27, 2028.
Nodal shifts can be quite large as they shift focus to completely different axes of the chart for 18 months at a time.
You cannot analyze transits of nodes the same way you analyze transits of Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, or any other planet.
why?
All planets have forward motion by default. The Sun, Moon, and all other planets move through the zodiac from Aries to Taurus to Gemini, and so on.
The moon nodes are archetype only The default movement through the zodiac is backwards.
For the past 18 months they have been in Pisces and Virgo, but now that they have reached 0° Pisces and Virgo, they will move into 29° Aquarius and Leo. The equivalent of the Analetic degree (29°) on other planets is the very entry point to the lunar node.
What does this actually mean?
Think of all the planets moving around the sun like this: A movie that unfolds scene by scene. Characters go through a series of experiences and changes as they move from one stage to another. Everything flows in the same direction as time itself: forward.

The South Node reveals what has become repetitive, overdeveloped, or no longer needed. The North Node introduces the missing pieces, the unfamiliar elements that must be developed in order to continue the story.
The lunar nodes work together as a karmic editing mechanism, Continuously recalibrating your identity so that what you have been and who you will be is congruent.
While in Pisces and Virgo, the Moon nodes have been reviewing and editing the parts of our lives ruled by the Virgo and Pisces axis.
On a mundane level, they reviewed and readjusted everything set in motion by Saturn in Pisces (2023-2026) and Neptune in Pisces (2011-2026).
Now, Aquarius and Leothe changes brought about by Pluto in Aquarius and Jupiter in Leo, and the focus shifts to the negotiation between our individual identities and the collective systems to which we belong.
Leo-Aquarius axis
In our birth chart, The axis of Leo and Aquarius is a pair house. – With or without planets – they are locked to interact with each other.

If a node activates your 4th to 10th house axis, it’s not as simple as “focusing on family,” “buying a new home,” or “changing career.” How do these two areas, linked by design, influence and coordinate each other?.
Most likely, a promotion will not only change your career, but also what kind of “home” you need to support it, and what you will ultimately look for there. Alternatively, changes at home not only change the family, but also change what they can bring to work and what they will no longer tolerate there.
One house moves and the others reorganize around it.
Lunar Node – Original Opposition
