The best print combination isn’t always intuitive. It comes down to a few styling tricks I’ve honed over the years, but none of them are about piling on as many patterns as possible. If you don’t feel comfortable combining prints, start by finding one element that ties your pieces together. It might be a common color palette, a similar scale, or simply a mood that permeates each piece. Once that connection is made, the outfit can handle much more than you expect.
This look was completed almost by accident. It turned out to be cooler in Paris than I had planned, so I reached for items I hadn’t planned on wearing together and loved how they all fit together so naturally.
