Can we talk about luxury plus size fashion? The luxury fashion industry has been quietly retreating from increasing sizing, and most of them aren’t even apologizing for it. So what happens when a brand like Eloquii says, “Do our customers actually deserve to collaborate with designers?” It’s more than just a product launch. That’s a statement.
The Eloquii x PatBo collaboration is a summer capsule that is a love letter to bold dressing, Brazilian craftsmanship, and the plus-size customer who has long wanted access to this level of fashion.
Wait, who is Patbo?
if Patbo is a new name in your world. Fix it now! Because this brand is authentic.
PatBo is a ready-to-wear and swim brand founded by Brazilian designer Patricia Bonardi. Bonardi literally taught herself to sew because her family couldn’t afford to buy clothes easily. That foundation, creativity born of necessity and craftsmanship rooted in community, remains the heartbeat of the brand.
Bonardi founded her eponymous couture label in 2002 and officially launched PatBo in 2012 as a bolder, more contemporary expression of her vision. Since then, the brand has grown into a global force, with stores in Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Net-a-Porter, and Harrods.
PatBo debuted at New York Fashion Week in 2021 and has shown every season since. In 2025, Bonardi was named Visionary of the Year at the Latin American Fashion Summit Gala. This speaks to Bonardi’s influence both inside and outside the industry.
The brand’s DNA is unmistakable: hand embroidery, vibrant prints, fluid movement, and fringe and ruffles that are both formal and classy. PatBo is a brand often seen on It Girls, red carpets, resort trips and editorial shoots. Confident, feminine, free, very Brazilian, with a very special energy. And until now, that energy has been largely out of reach for plus-size shoppers.
What the Eloquii x PatBo collaboration actually entails

of Eroqui x Patobo The capsule collection is designed for the height of summer. Think bold florals, flowing silhouettes, and fabrics that move with your body rather than against it. This was a complete creative collaboration between Bonaldi and Eloquii Creative Director Yesenia Torres, who approached this process with clear intentions.
Torres’ goal was to ensure that every silhouette was designed to feel special to Eloquii customers, while honoring PatBo’s identity, organic textures, fringes, and signature prints. Not retrofitted. It’s not just an extension. Designed. The distinction is important.

“The goal was never to reinterpret her identity, but to honor that identity while making each silhouette feel special to our customers. That balance really comes through in some of our hero pieces and signature prints, especially the fringe looks and studded floral tops that bring a sense of joy and escapism to the collection.” -Yesenia Torres, Eloquii Creative Director

Standout pieces from the Eloquii x PatBo collection include fringed looks and studded floral tops that deliver the kind of joy and visual impact PatBo is known for, refined through Eloquii’s plus-size fit expertise. These are not watered down versions of runway. These are the works.

The campaign reflects similar intentions. Brazilian plus size model Lindsey Hilario At the front of the campaign are selections centered around the plus-size customer that the collection was built on, while honoring PatBo’s cultural roots. The visual world is lofty, moving, and decidedly extravagant…which is exactly what we deserve.
Why this collaboration matters
Over the years, we’ve seen collaborations with designers come and go, and on rare occasions we’ve been included, campaigns never featured plus-size models, collections stopped at 24, and in-store rollouts took a backseat. But now, at a time when retailers are actively moving away from extended sizing, Eloquii is doing the opposite, doubling down and providing access to exactly the kind of high fashion we’ve always deserved.

Eloquii has been building for this type of moment since being acquired by FullBeauty Brands in 2023. The brand continues to establish itself as a fashion-first destination for sizes 14 and up, and the Eloquii x PatBo collaboration is the clearest sign yet of where Eloquii is heading.
“This collaboration shows where ELOQUII is headed, led by elevated design and true fashion authority,” said Julie Carnevale, Brand Leader, FullBeauty Brands. “Partnering with PatBO introduced a bold, high-fashion perspective to the brand. The collection feels vibrant, modern, and effortlessly sophisticated. Working with her team was seamless, and their creativity and precision shows in every detail. We are extremely proud of how everything came together,” says Carnevale.

As stated by Julie Carnevale, this partnership represents an elevation of design and true fashion authority, and is a deliberate move to offer the kind of luxury collaborations that have historically evaded the plus-size market entirely, rather than just seasonal capsules.
And Patricia Bonardi herself spoke candidly about what it means to her to truly open up the world of Patbo to a wider audience.

“Collaborating with ELOQUII felt very meaningful to me because it allows us to maintain the authenticity of our brand while exposing the world of PatBO to a wider audience,” he said. Patricia Bonardi. “From the beginning, it was essential that every piece of work, and the campaign itself, felt like a deeply considered and detailed reflection of our DNA. We are so proud of what we created together.”
The DNA of the campaign, craft, and collection have all been constructed with the same care and consideration that PatBo puts into all of its full-priced products. That’s not always a given in collaborative spaces, but it’s on display here.
