About the Run:
Kurosawa Akira’s masterpiece rethinks Shakespeare’s masterpiece King Lear As a historical epic poem of Japan in the 16th century. At the age of 70, after years of consolidation of the empire, the Great Lord decided to split the domain into three sons and divide it. Though the eldest son, Taro, rule, Jiro, second son, and Sabo command the second and third castles, they are expected to follow and support their brother.
