New post for all my printing enthusiasts out there! Prints can be very polarized, especially when it comes to fashion works. When working on some RTWs of corporate merchandising and my past collaborations, print tends to be something that the teams don’t fully agree with. It makes sense because they are so emotional and subjective. Often, it’s very difficult to even explain why the print feels in a certain way!
I’m currently working on a brand new collection (which will be released next year) with a very special brand, so for me the prints are the best. We are still in the sampling stage and are editing which prints will make the final cut! Within my previous RTW collaboration with Tuckernuck, multicolor wave printing was and still is. Usually I’m drawn to a bright, happy, fluid print on a large scale.
