Onipress announced the upcoming release of Touch me somewhere, nowhere – The first creator-owned solo series written, illustrated, and colored by Eisner Award-nominated cartoonist and visionary storyteller Trad Moore (Doctor Strange: Autumn Sunrise, The Strange Talents of Luther Strode, Silver Surfer: Black).
Scheduled to start publishing in 2027. Touch me somewhere, nowhere The film follows a series of outsiders through their eventful, violent, and sexually charged misadventures in an alternate New York City, where a colorful hierarchy of street gangs vie for dominance and (literally) wild animals roam the streets. At its center is Kelly Muir, the prodigal child of a powerful New York City crime family, who self-immolates and lovesickly perverts the vibrant nocturnal archipelago of drug-infested, gangster Brooklyn after dark.

“This comic walks a gonzo tightrope of agonizing, unresolved emotions between the camp genres I love. I can’t wait to stick my tongue out and dance on it. It’s romantic, dangerous, and painful,” said Trad Moore.
“Touch me somewhere, nowhere Oni Press Editor-in-Chief Sierra Hearn said, “It is a stunning and unforgettable display of comic and poetic storytelling, evoking Shakespeare’s vision through Paul Thomas Anderson. Trad’s rich cast of characters is imbued with style, belief and desire.” Readers will fall in love with Kelly and the multifaceted tapestry of her life during this wild adventure.
Touch me somewhere, nowhere This is Moore’s first fully creator-owned solo work as a writer and illustrator.
“What’s more, Trad is one of the true creative geniuses working in our medium today, and his incredible talent as an artist and storyteller is already well known to everyone invested in the future of comics. Touch me somewhere, nowhere “This is a once-in-a-generation project, and it is a tremendous honor for the entire Oni Press team to be tasked with bringing Tradd’s unique vision to print,” said Hunter Golinson, president and publisher of Oni Press.
For more information, Touch me somewhere, nowhere Trad will be appearing at this year’s SDCC, signing autographs and participating in a panel discussion looking back on his career.
