Crocs is back with a high-fashion collaboration starring Simone Rocha.
This is the duo’s fifth drop and is truly monumental. This time, the pair is releasing five styles: two clog-like ballerina platforms and three Soho sandals, all featuring platform soles and plenty of pearl accents. In the colorway realm, we have: espresso and calm pink caramel Platform Ballerina options and A mint green shade called Jade, Chaiand black For Soho model.
Although this is a collaboration, the new silhouette boasts a clear Crocs influence and maintains its identity, including an adjustable backstrap and vents on the toebox for an adjustable fit. The upper of each style is generously adorned with pearls and crystals that mimic blooming flowers. Sandals have a subdued shape with a subtly raised sole, while ballerina pieces are avant-garde and feature block heels that elongate height. Priced at $300, this pale pink ballerina combines high-fashion style with Crocs’ world-famous comfort. Said sole is platform style and functions based on a block heel that lifts the wearer to new heights.
The upper is adorned with eye-catching crystals, beadwork and pearls reminiscent of Rocha’s work on the runway. The Soho Sandal is naturally different from Crocs’ iconic clogs, including its open-toe design. The collaboration’s upper is made from TPU, also known as thermoplastic polyurethane. This is a durable, rubber-like plastic that is incredibly resistant to wear and tear. Adjustable instep and back straps provide a tailored fit. Like the Ballerina, the Soho also utilizes crystal and pearl embellishments, adorned with thick straps across the sole. Specifically, the front strap is accented with custom Jibbits that resemble blooming flowers.
The platform outsole, which measures just over 2 inches tall, is made from Croslite, a proprietary material that Crocs uses for most of its viral selections. result?
