Independence Day weekend is here. The country is celebrating 250 years of independence in 2026, and retailers are also taking advantage of the occasion with several promotions. New releases for summer.
While Independence Day has traditionally been known for its sales on mattresses, bedding, and home goods, the shopping holiday has now expanded to include sales on fashion and footwear. We’ve found discounts of up to 60% off on sites like Adidas, Nike, and New Balance, and even more discounts on multi-brand stores like DSW and Zappos.
And while the recent Amazon Prime Day event offered some shoe deals, those deals were typically limited to older inventory or more basic silhouettes. We’ve rounded up some Fourth of July shoe sales that will save you money on everything from Air Max sneakers to rare discounts on On’s running bestsellers.
adidas
Adidas’ Summer Sale gets you an extra 30% off list price and sale styles when you use promo code keep. We put the discount code to the test and were able to use it on popular silhouettes like the Adidas Gazelle (above), ULTRABOOST sneakers, and even the brand’s limited edition collaboration with Liberty of London.
Shoes aren’t the only thing on sale at Adidas this weekend. You can also use the promo code to get discounts on apparel and accessories, including official 2026 FIFA World Cup merchandise. Pitfall: Only the losing team’s merchandise will be sold.

Amazon Prime Day may be over, but the site still has hundreds of shoes on sale this weekend. Our suggestion: Take advantage of Amazon’s Fourth of July sale to buy sandals, hiking shoes, water shoes, and other summer essentials. For example, the cork sandals above retail for just around $20.

ASICS is offering over 50% off on select shoe styles, with models starting at just $25 online. Plus, shop our Last Chance section to save even more on top silhouettes like the Dynablast and GT-2000 before they sell out.

Brooks offers up to 35% off on best-selling styles for men and women. Some of the models available from the running shoe brand include the Ghost 17, Ghost Max 3, Hyperion Max 3, Hyperion Elite 5, and Cascadia 19. Click here for details.

Dick’s “Epic Independence Day” sale offers up to 50% off shoes, apparel and sporting goods online, with an additional 30% off on select clearance items. No promo code required. Shoe brands like ON, HOKA, Nike, and Adidas are on sale, as well as soccer cleats, baseball cleats, and golf shoes.
DSW
