Sofia Carson recently shared a moving story of how she became friends with Hollywood icon Jamie Lee Curtis.
“Jamie Lee Curtis is truly one of the most extraordinary souls,” Carson said. “She deserves attention and we love you so much, Jamie. I think we’re very fortunate to know her and call her a friend.”
Two first crossing passes at the 2022 Oscar. “I had just finished an interview and Jamie Lee was walking around. She didn’t know who I was, but she took my hand and said, ‘I don’t know who you are, but I think you’re very special,'” Carson recalls. “She walked me up the stairs at the Dolby Theatre and said, ‘Sit down. I want to take a picture of you.’
Carson also talked about her upcoming films. My Oxford Yearadaptation of a bestselling novel of the same name. “It’s a love story between Anna and Jamie, a story that reminds us how precious life is. It’s about living perfectly with love, joy and purpose,” she said. “In the end, it’s really better to love and lose than to be loved.”
The film was filmed in Oxford, the place where Carson is called the perfect background. “Photographing in Oxford was like stepping into a fairy tale. It brought magical quality to the story and made the entire experience unforgettable.” See the video clip inside…
