Add waypoint Babalu Perfect for your next outing with family and friends! They recently updated their menu so I was invited to stop by one of their stores to try a few things. My niece is a foodie, so I brought her along so we could have some fun while eating snacks together (lol).
Usually when we go Babalu I get a tableside job, but Tuna carpaccio Light and fresh, it’s the perfect dish for the warmer months. For me it was an outstanding dish.
of Patatas Bravas Perfect for sharing. It has a garlicky flavor and a bit of crunch, making it a great accompaniment to salads and burgers.
of carne asada power bowl and Tuna poke bowl A great lunch option if you want something light, but george’s spicy honey chicken sandwich The same temptation exists when you want to splurge but don’t want to eat tacos or burgers.
I love a good cocktail and usually have a spicy margarita. Paloma Phantasma The cocktails were delicious. It was refreshing and had a bit of spice so I could enjoy a little ‘kick’.
If you like sweets like us, Double chocolate skillet cookies with avocado ice cream and cinnamon bread pudding Both are delicious! The flavor of the avocado ice cream is very light and creamy, but balanced by the salty sweetness of the chocolate skillet cookies. There are also seasonal frozen options (we tried what was basically raspberry sorbet and had the perfect amount of sweetness without being too sweet).
There are even more new dishes and cocktails on the menu, now available at both locations. We always have our favorites, but it’s great to change it up and we’ve found some new favorites!
