There was a large man in my gym who I was silently afraid of for the better part of a year. He’s gray-haired, beer-bellied (at least that’s what we called him), clearly chomping on martinis, and has the self-satisfied demeanor of someone who arrogantly brags about how much tax money Trump is saving them.
He’s a typical country club Trump supporter in every visible way. And he’s keeping it. His oversized screen lights up every time he climbs onto the oval next to me fox newsalmost like a challenge.

I’m sure he did the same to me.
Then on Monday, something shocking happened. I took one look and almost fell off the machine. he was watching CNN. And for the first time, he looked up and gave me a small, very small nod.
Now, I don’t want to overstate the light nods at the gym. But I’ve been thinking about it ever since. Because it felt like something more than changing your cable TV options. In a way, it seemed to me that he had diminished. smaller. And, dare I say it, it was a defeat.
Its cultural superiority is Maga Years of campaigning, obnoxious oversized flag waving, those awful MAGA hats, and unstoppable stupidity have always hinged on one thing. donald trump He was untouchable.
Challenging these bullish, brainwashed MAGA people was a futile exercise. These fanatics are even more dangerous because they love confrontation.
Most of us disliked their attitude and adjusted accordingly. We have learned to keep our heads down and avoid it at all costs. It was better than trying to argue with ignorant people who stubbornly refuse to believe that worshiping Donald Trump is wrong.
I took the time to read some of the comments and there were tons of news articles about President Trump’s thoughtless wars and threats against him. wipe out civilizationgas prices rising, and a post he shared and then deleted. Myself as Jesus Christ.
So many commenters said, to paraphrase here, “I voted for you three times, and I’m done with you.” This photo I took with my friends from the gym got me thinking. Is it finally time to embrace Trump supporters who may be looking for a way out?

The situation in Hungary is the same as they are concentrating their efforts here at home. People eventually grow tired of being ruled by someone else, replaced by personal enrichment, reckless wars, and the impact it has had on our daily lives.
Others include an obsession with ICE, ballrooms, Trump’s name and face on buildings and dollars, and luxury jets from Qatar. It reeks of privilege, sadness, and disregard for people’s needs. As President Trump puts it,let them eat cake”

And that baffles the rest of us. Should we welcome them with open arms to the winning side, or should we sit on the sidelines and watch them lose again?
