Phaedra Parks is spilling the tea on Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 17!
The fan-favorite housewives stopped by to chat about hosting a dramatic women’s cast trip to Scotland, teased what’s in store for the highly anticipated reunion, and shared exciting details about her upcoming appearance at the first-ever Dancing with the Stars fan festival.
Phaedra revealed that she is excited to be a part of the first-ever immersive Dancing with the Stars experience, where fans can enjoy live dancing, interactive activities, and Q&A panels with cast members.
“This is the first time Dancing with the Stars has done an immersive fan event, so it’s going to be amazing. You’ll be dancing, you’ll be on the Q&A panel, and I’ll be dancing too, so we start rehearsing this week!”
When the conversation turned to RHOA, Andy Cohen joked that no matter who plans the annual cast trip, the women never seem to appreciate it. Instead, the drama usually begins with complaints about room assignments, then descends into complete chaos.
Phaedra admitted that, fortunately, accommodation was not an issue this time.
“We stayed in a beautiful castle and everyone had great rooms,” she said. “There were no issues with the room, but there were definitely a lot of other issues.”
Phaedra teased that fans should prepare for some big surprises for the season 17 reunion, which was recently filmed in New York City.
“There’s a bombshell announcement,” she hinted, declining to give details. “Of course, there’s a lot of screaming, a little bit of crying, and some very interesting reveals. Plus, we’ve got a new diva joining the group.”
Andy also asked if they made it through the reunion without getting attacked too much.
“I think so,” Phaedra laughed. “I’m a phoenix, honey.”
The conversation ended with Phaedra sharing her thoughts on this season’s newest installment, “Housewives.” She praised K. Michelle and said they have a great relationship, while calling newcomer Pinky “very interesting”.
“She’s like a walking TED talk,” Phaedra joked. “She knows everything. I’m a pretty knowledgeable person myself, so it’s interesting to be around someone who thinks they’re as smart as I am.”
“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” airs Sundays at 8pm ET on Bravo.
