A few months ago, we wrote about a little-known movie that you all realized. (plus one! Goodbye, Lenin! the place beyond the pines!) So today we would like to ask you, what is your favorite thing that not many people know about? tv show?

For those who haven’t seen it yet, Somebody Somewhere is a love story between two platonic friends (played by Bridget Everett and Jeff Hiller) set in Manhattan, Kansas. I love how Midwestern characters are not just folky and wholesome, but smart, funny, and nuanced.

Written by Irish comedian Aisling Bee and co-starring her best friend Sharon Horgan, This Way Up depicts depression in a way that I personally felt was very true. If you liked Catastrophe and Fleabag, I highly recommend watching it.

Have you seen PEN15? Anna Konkle ( My memoir just came out.) and Maya Erskine play 13-year-old versions of themselves, and it’s hilarious. “We talked about the times when we were most likely to be rejected, awkward, funny, sad, messed up, and it kept coming back to middle school.” Konkle said. Don’t miss the animated episode where Anna goes to Florida with her father and falls in love with two men at a hotel. It felt similar to the road trip my family took to Florida when I was in middle school. It’s so exciting! It’s so humid! 21 hours by car from Michigan!

lastly, after partyA man dies under mysterious circumstances during a high school reunion after-party, and detectives come to investigate. She asks each guest at the party to describe the night’s “mind movie,” and each episode follows one character’s answers. Depending on your point of view, each episode is a different genre. One is a romantic comedy, another is an action movie, and the third is a musical. I laughed so much. What a clever conceit!
Which TV show do you think is underrated? The second season started last night sistersit was great. and me too Really Mo had fun playing Mo Amer, a Palestinian refugee who tries to find work and love in Houston while seeking asylum with his mother and brother. Shit
