I have shared my desire to be a better gift giver over the years, and let me tell you, it’s an ongoing process. Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 11th, but we found that 90% of being a better gift giver has planned ahead of time. So today I’m reminding me to square those gifts and offer my personal favorite Mother’s Day gift ideas (without some cost).
If you want to get an extra individual, ask your mother for her wish list. Or ask her best friend to spill details of the product she’s been talking about recently. You won’t make a mistake with a personalized gift chosen just for her.
These are my favorite Mother’s Day gift ideas for 2025…
15 Mother’s Day Gift Ideas
There are notes from Bennett’s kindergarten teacher. Framing can feel like a chore for all the decisions you need to make, from selecting a frame to figuring out the best way to display it.
Frame bridges are my favorite place for creative inspiration and they can frame anything. One way to hit it out of the park with mom is to frame the moment she saves and cherishes, but she hasn’t done anything yet.
I don’t know of mothers who have not thought about environmental health lately. Give a safe cooking utensil gift, especially if there is a specific pot or pot that your mother wants to replace. It’s an upgrade she appreciates.
Place the Lunya Silk Sleep Mask on the signal in “Off Duty” mode. I have one of these masks and I exhale as soon as it hits my eyes. It’s also a hit with Joe. We often have to trade off those who wear it at night.
4. One day for yourself
Book a sitter (or become a sitter yourself) and block the day with her calendar to do whatever she wants, wherever she wants. It feels like a hero.
As my kids get older, I associate their uniqueness with what illuminates them. A bracelet with icons and symbols representing the whole family is a truly special way to celebrate the family you have created together. Etsy has many options for you.
These are very good, high quality tees and the perfect basic clothing item. They are well constructed to retain shape over time, but they still feel completely relaxed. If the mom you are buying is practical and discernible, then the cre will be a hit.
When I was at Esalen last month, I tried some amazing body oils that I couldn’t stop thinking about. I rarely deal with it, but it would make such a gorgeous gift.
8. Art Project
I love creative gift ideas that kids and dads can make together. One idea: Have each child display a portrait of their mom when they wake up. Separate: Write a small message to mom on colorful paper, roll them up into small scrolls and place them Hand-drawn wooden chest.
Indoor plants A great gift for anyone who loves to exercise their green thumb. If she loves the garden, get her Perennial plants. Better yet, we grow over time a ritual that adds something new to our garden each year. Don’t be embarrassed to ask her what plants she loves the most.
Removing some of her mental load is a great gift to give to mom. I have a hearth display. It’s an incredible way to track everything your family does in one place. If you get a gift like this, make sure you also own the initial setup process. There’s not one more thing that has to be on mommy’s plate.
A luxurious upgrade to a daily staple becomes a winner. Cashmere socks are the ultimate little luxury. You can find a wide range of pricing Comme Si (in amazing colors) J.Crewcashmere blend socks have a pretty good selling price.
If she loves tennis like me, get her a new tennis racket that’s on her list (I’m my eyes) Wilson Roland Garos 2025 Collision). Or, if you are unsure of her product preferences, buy a gift card from her chosen brand. If tennis isn’t hers, get something to support her unique hobby.
I love the idea of putting together an album of family photos she’s never seen before on your phone. If Joe did something like this for me, I love it.
For moms who love to write down lists and notes, get her a great notepad. I designed it some For targets available for a limited time only.
15. SPA Services
Almost every mom loves gifts of spa services, such as deep tissue massages, a day in a modern bathhouse, or a hydrating facial. For locals in Twin City, I love it Basin Spaand I recommend Page Harbor Directivity and other bodywork modalities.
