At a healthier time (last week lol)

Hey everyone, I caught a cold and fell down! I feel like a baby, but maybe it’s just a bad cold? It’s not the usual modest cold (lol)? How are you doing these days?

sick day

This is my scene last night – a roll of toilet paper, a blanket, a large glass of water, and soprano singerI’ve been watching recently (more on this later, think about it).

Vibes.

However, the silver lining of any illness, no matter how slight, is feeling loved by those around you. My sister, who is a doctor, called me and told me what medicine to buy at the pharmacy.

My friend Leah brought me matzo ball soup (she called it “Jewish penicillin”) and I ate it for dinner before taking my evening medication.

The next day my friend Rob came over and took the boys out for ice cream so I could lay on my back.

A guy I’m dating (more on this later) posted a cute photo of his dog, mates of states song I haven’t heard it in 10 years.

It’s so touching to feel the small village when you’re counting down the days, especially as the only adult in the house. It’s just a cold again! I’m a troublemaker! But it meant a lot to me. Shit

How are you feeling these days? Anyone else having bad weather? Or are we dealing with something bigger? What can help these days? Send a big hug to someone who needs it. Shit

PS Cold season: board games, and what is your super special love language?
