So who is the new kid with the LED light block? It is a shark cryoglow cooling & LED face mask, a very effective device, essentially replaced by all other red light therapy masks.
That’s not a small feat. With LED power gadgets that saturate the market, it is difficult to determine which facial devices are worth investing. Even as a beauty writer whose job is to review these gizmos, I struggled to keep up with innovation (see you, microcurrent). This will return to the shark cryoglow cooling and LED face mask. This is a product that can become a face mask that will end all face masks. Read below for my review along with tests from peers charm Editors, see if it stands up to the hype.
What is the shark cryoglow cooling and LED face mask?
This wearable facial device combines the anti-inflammatory properties of cryotherapy with the anti-inflammatory properties of cryotherapy to relieve wounds, thin lines, swelling and more.
Apart from the shark cryoglow cooling and other LED face masks, what sets up a Face mask?
The most obvious difference between Shark’s masks and other options on the market is its adjustable fit (I think it’s more comfortable than most) and its cooling eye patch. Pads under the eyes help reduce swelling by constricting blood vessels. MonagoharaMD, a board-certified dermatologist based in Hamden, Connecticut, is not related to the brand and has reviewed the specifications as per our request. “They are great for quick refreshments, especially before events or after sleepless nights,” she says. “In terms of long-term benefits, we may see slight minimization of thin lines with consistent use, but rarely lead to significant changes in pigmentation or deeper wrinkles.”
As far as light therapy goes, the device has a total of 480 LED lights, which is significantly more than the other options on the market.Dr. Dennis Gross’s Virus Maskfor example, it has a total of 162 LED lights. Although there is no highest light count on the market (this crown belongs to Therabody’s device, which currently features a 648 LED light), Shark’s Face mask has a more concentrated count than the more expensive options, as well as the built-in cryotherapy options unique to this device. However, keep that in mind as there is no research that supports light numbers for better results.
Is Clioglow a Shark worth the money?
I think so. As a full-time beauty guinea pig, I have tested this mask three or five times a week for nearly two months (the brand recommends using it every day, but I just forget). I’ve forgotten to use some nights, but that’s what I do do not have I was excited to strap it. This is why.
The first thing I noticed about this device was the fit details. Around the head (one vertically, one horizontally), it features two adjustable velcro straps that are perfect, but still create a breathable fit even when wearing bulky nail clips. This mask doesn’t wash away on the face like a silicon-based flexible mask, which we usually prefer, but its rare stainless steel-based cooling patches will hug you under your eyes comfortably as intended. To ensure that the cooling patch fits the face contours, the device also comes with additional clip-in patches to adjust as needed.
You can customize your treatment
The shark comes with a remote control, which lets you flip through four preset modes to select the selected mode based on your skin condition. Three modes (better aging, wound repair, skin persistence) utilize the combination of LED lights and cooling defective pads to target inflammation, wrinkles and/or acne. Alternatively, LED-free under-eye revitalization treatments can be used to target swelling-free disorders. Most treatments last less than 10 minutes (approximately 5-8 depending on function), but you can use the under-eye revival mode for up to 15 minutes.
