A new video going viral on social media shows an elderly man angrily confronting Tyler Brodsky, a young father who entered the women’s bathroom at an Alabama gas station to rescue his young daughters.
The man seen in the video calling the police on Brodsky was apparently upset because his wife and elderly mother were waiting outside because he didn’t feel comfortable coming inside. At one point, the man even suggested that Brodsky should have asked a strange woman to take his daughters to the bathroom or take them to the men’s room.
The video showed the man refusing to calm down, even though one of Brodsky’s children was visibly shaken by his screams. The video also shows a woman, believed to be a KwikTrip employee, attempting to defuse the situation by forcing the angry man to leave the restroom while Brodsky finishes helping his daughters wash their hands. The woman apologized to Brodsky for the man’s actions and tried to soothe her crying child.
A more disturbing part of the video shows the man becoming enraged when he realized Mr. Brodsky was recording him as he was leaving the store with his daughters. The man appeared to push Brodsky in front of the young children, but Brodsky calmly told him, “Don’t let go of me,” to which the man responded, “Please stop filming me.”
After the ordeal, Brodsky posted a video to TikTok and wrote, “Let’s all make this guy famous.”
“On our road trip from Florida back to Oklahoma, we stopped at QuikTrip so my girls could use the restroom,” he continued in the post. “I put them in the girls’ room because it was empty. I’d rather do that than take two young girls into a boys’ room full of grown men and dirty stalls. This guy storms in yelling and scares the girls, so for some reason they think they should have gone into the boys’ room instead. Am I wrong here?”
