Luke Evans certainly wasn’t wrong, as he wowed audiences at the 79th Tony Awards this week by singing “Sweet Transvestite” in an outfit that left little to the imagination.
The star took the stage at Radio City Musical Hall on June 7th with the rest of the cast of the Broadway revival of “The Rocky Horror Show” starring Sam Pinkleton.
The audience trembled with anticipation as Evans showed off her Rocky-like body in a corset, thigh-high boots, fishnet stockings, and a festive codpiece.
The “Beauty and the Beast” actor mesmerized the audience with a sensual solo. Then, as the first bars of “Time Warp” played, he staggered away, his butt cheeks exposed to the cheers of the audience.
Viewers watching at home were also captivated by Evans’ performance, with one X user writing: “Luke Evans shakes his dick and hips on stage at the Tony Awards in a naughty Rocky Horror Frank-N-Furter costume…this is what Pride Month is all about!”
“I know those idiots at CBS were so mad about this gay guy living his best life on stage,” said another.
A third commented: “He’s basically the Welsh Hugh Jackman and he’s gay.”

Evans’ performance marks the second time in less than a month that she has sent fans into a frenzy with leather and a cheeky nipple flash.
After this year’s Met Gala, he treated fans to a glimpse of his chiseled abs as he tried on a leather Tom of Finland hat for the last time. And the fans really appreciated it.
The openly gay star was among a handful of celebrities, including Nicholas Hoult, who wore leather looks to the annual fashion event. But Evans doesn’t seem ready to let the moment pass just yet, sharing a series of images of him wearing the hat on Instagram.
In the first shot, the Beauty and the Beast star wore a Palomo hat on her head and covered her eyes. The black-and-white photo showed Evans standing strong, his toned body doing heavy lifting.
Other shots are in color, showing the deep burgundy color of the leather hat. He donned aviator sunglasses for the shoot, but still posed in just jeans.
He wrote in the caption, “I got to try on hats for the last time in a week since I wore them on the stone carpet at the Met Gala before I put them in the archives! I loved it!”
