Friday, October 3rd

“Center Aging Friday Tea Time” It will be held in person at the DC Center for the LGBT Community, 1827 Wiltberger St., N.W., at 2 p.m. To RSVP, please visit the DC Center. Website or by email [email protected].

Sponsored by Go Gay DC “First Friday LGBTQ+ Community Social” 7 p.m. at Silver Diner Balston. This event is perfect for making new friends, professional networking, sharing ideas, and building community. This event is free. For more information, event bright

Saturday, October 4th

Sponsored by Go Gay DC “LGBTQ+ Community Brunch” at Freddy’s Beach Bar & Restaurant at 12 p.m. This fun weekly event brings together the DMV area’s LGBTQ community (including allies) for great food and conversation. Participation is free and details can be found here event bright.

LGBTQ People of Color Support Group It will be held via Zoom from 7pm. This peer support group is an outlet for LGBTQ people of color to come together and discuss everything that affects them in a safe, non-judgmental space. Hosted by Families Out Loud “Out Loud – Drag Race Queens at Drag Show Fort RuPaul in Washington DC” It will be an unforgettable night of powerhouse Drag Race performances featuring Brook Lynn Heights, Silky Nutmeg Ganache, Isis Couture, Detox, and DC’s very own Cake Pops. Tuesday, October 7th

universal pride meeting It will be held via Zoom from 7pm. The group aims to support, educate, empower and create change for people with disabilities. For more information please email us [email protected].

Wednesday, October 8th

job club It will be held via Zoom from 6pm. This is a weekly job support program designed to help job seekers and candidates, including the long-term unemployed, improve their confidence, motivation, resilience and productivity, as well as assist them with effective job searching and networking, enabling participants to move from being mere ‘applicants’ to ‘candidates’. Sponsored by Go Gay DC “LGBTQ+ Activities at the Women’s National Democratic Club” At 6 p.m. at Whitmore House. Guests can join other WNDC activists in writing letters and postcards to help get people to vote in Virginia and other important state elections this fall. Postcards will be written to members of the Virginia Rural Women and Bylaws 101 in collaboration with the D.C. Democratic State Committee. There will be free pizza, a cash bar, and fun raffles and social gatherings. For more information, event bright.

Thursday, October 9th

DC center fresh food program It will be held throughout the day at the DC Center for the LGBT Community. To ensure fairness, the program will move to a lottery system as to who receives a box. Virtual Yoga with Charles M. It will be held via Zoom from 7pm. This is a free weekly class focused on yoga, breathing exercises, and meditation. For more information, visit the DC Center for the LGBT Community. Website.

Hosted by Pitcher DC “Thirst Trap Thursday Drag Show” 10pm This is the ultimate drag experience hosted by the sensational Cake Pop and Venus Valhalla. From international RuPaul’s Drag Race stars to local legends, we’ll feature four amazing queens each week. Admission is free and details can be found here event bright.
