A role model that is more than a contestant
Rabello is no stranger to the world of pageant. In 2019 he competed in Mr. Rio de Janeiro and in 2021 he won the title of Mr. Brazilian trance. However, stepping into the stage at Mr. Brazil was different. It wasn’t just a race. It was about creating space.
His gender journey began in 2019 at the age of 23 after years of self-discovery and professional guidance.
“That’s when I realized who I was,” Rabello shared. “I gained financial independence and started hormone therapy. It changed my life.”
Support from family and faith
Like many trans individuals, Rabello initially faced concerns from his family, especially his mother, who was afraid of how his mother would treat him. But over time, her fears gave way to overwhelming pride.
“I have shown her that there is no need to fear, that God will take care of me,” said Rabello.
Now his mother is his biggest supporter.

Despite not winning the title, Rabello is unacceptable and deeply motivated.
