Critical theorists and social justice warriors are trying to do what they have done to other fields of medieval research. If you don’t board, you’re a white supremacist. Over the past two years or so, the mob targeted Professor Rachel Fulton Brown of the University of Chicago, calling her a fascist, blackmailing her department and trying to ban her from conference sessions. She joins me and discusses her ordeal. Why is it that even each professor is willing to confront the unpopular truth and the fighting interests for medieval research.
