What is Camping?

This was popularized in modern times by the Boy Scouts of America. The Boy Scouts take teenagers, under adult supervision, to places where they can participate in a variety of activities, such as cooking, hiking, and archery. Many Boy Scout troops go to national parks, such as Everglades National Park in South Florida. Since the founding of the Boy Scouts of America, many members have grown up and continue camping in tents and RVs. The Boy Scouts hold a campore every year, where all the local and regional Boy Scout troops get together to camp together and do canoeing, archery, and many other exciting activities that members enjoy once a year. Some people say they are camping in an RV, but that doesn’t count as outdoor camping. Some campers use special camping equipment that provides comfort, such as their own generator, water source, and camping furniture. Camping can be combined with hiking and is often combined with other outdoor activities, such as canoeing, kayaking, rock climbing, fishing, and hunting. I love camping!
