After four months of alcohol-free, I began the “satisfied” chapter in early March. It started just as unexpectedly as it was finished. It’s not a dramatic moment, it’s a quiet shift. Since then, it has been going well: one or two drinks a week. The dinner party is now wrapped in a glass of wine.
I know that I found this shift to be manageable. why I want a drink when I do it. And then I find something that gives me exactly what I was looking for. That part surprised me. It’s actually easier not to drink, as I’ve noticed sometimes Drinking. The gray area is a squishy. And what I learned in Squish is this: What I want when I crave a drink is not usually alcohol. It’s a moment of relaxation. Relax. Enjoy what you have prepared with love.
Now my favorite non-alcoholic drink is my staple food. I reach for them more often than wine. After four months of dryness, I taught me that the desire to drink is almost always a desire to treat myself, ease the day and hold it a little. And, after all, I can do it all – without alcohol.
My 8 favorite non-alcoholic drinks are now
If you’re craving cocktails, this is the best alternative I’ve found! I drank these at a holiday party and didn’t miss my beloved martinis if I found them.
Ah, my other beloved drink! I love all the flavors of the gear, but my favorite is Urushi & Chili and Lime and salt.
My friend Pedder co-founded this NA brand. This is a luxurious bottle worthy of a dinner party or special occasion. The main ingredient is pine tea (made from local white pine). In a warm climate, brave, fresh and perfect.
Really delicious beer. I like it Upside down dawn Golden and Free Wave Fluffy IPA.
I recently tried these Minneapolis NA Craft Beer sampler packs and highly recommend it for holding a party. There’s something for everyone!
This is a solid, fresh beer that has been on sale everywhere these days. Great for food and hot summer days.
I drink these when I yearn for sparkling water. They are very good! I don’t have much in sweet drinks, so this rustic and soda drink is a real thirst quencher. It also feels special, it’s really what I’m looking for when I want a drink. Something that feels like a treat, a little break from everyday.
8. Soda water with bitterness and lime
This is the drink I mix in for friends and family who don’t drink beer. It’s also something I make myself after a long day, when I want a drink and when NA beer isn’t calling me. I usually have all the ingredients on hand. Fill the glass with ice and soda water, add the bitterness of one or two people, squeeze it with fresh lime juice and enjoy.
