While the Pisces deposits burned up in the deep ocean, Venus calmly walked home. She will enter the fixed star Taurus on April 19, the same day Mars captures Saturn, and will transit Krittika and Rohini over the next three weeks. This is not a noisy transport. It will never be a topic of conversation in your life. But it will do something more worthwhile. Give your nervous system a place to rest.
Venus in your own sign after a tough week
Taurus is the sweetest seat of Venus. She’s not trying to dazzle here like she was with Libra. She is content to just stay at home, put down roots and take care of what is already growing. Think of Venus in Taurus like a friend who shows up with soup after a long week in the hospital. She’s not asking you for an explanation. She tells you to eat and sit down.
This is important now because the weekend of Mars, Saturn and Mercury was a physical transit. The tension affected my shoulders, back, teeth, and even my sleep. Venus in Taurus is the counterweight. She lowers her heart rate. She regains her senses. She brings us back to the kitchen, the garden, warm baths and leisurely meals. None of this is easy. Everything is healing. Most of her influence appears on Fridays, ruled by Venus.
What Venus in Taurus wants from us
- Cook authentic meals. It’s not takeout, it’s not a rush plate. Make one meal this week intentionally and with care and share it with someone.
- Put your hands in the soil. Repot plants, remove weeds from flower beds, and plant seeds. The seasons are changing, and Venus in Taurus wants to be among them.
- Touch something beautiful. cloth, wood, stone, paper. Let’s enjoy delicious food slowly. Drink water from your favorite cup.
- Repair what you already own instead of replacing it. This is classic Taurus economics.
- Spend time with people who don’t demand performance from you. Venus in Taurus is not about romance in the dramatic sense. It’s about a stable company.
Kritika Pada and Rohini’s Deeper Lessons
Venus begins its journey in Taurus in the last degree of Krittika, the fiery Nakshatra ruled by the Sun. This combination asks us to be clear about what we value. Kritika does not tolerate half-measures. Be kind at first and ask why you still hold on to something that no longer serves you. If Mars and Saturn force you to make a decision this week, Venus in Krittika will help you know if the decision is actually the right one or if it was simply forced upon you.
By early May, Venus enters Rohini, the Moon-ruled Nakshatra of the Red Bull. Rohini is abundance. Rohini has grown slowly and is now a free producing vineyard. If Pisces feels a financial or emotional drought during its buildup, Rohini will return some of that moisture. Expect small quiet reversals in your favor rather than big reversals.

Human relationships and Venus return
The next three weeks are important for those who have Venus in dasa, sub-period or pratyanthar. When Venus comes home, something about you always comes back, whether it’s your artwork, a relationship you drifted off to, or a sense of beauty you left behind somewhere between December and March. Notice the small, soft returns. These are the true gifts of this transit.
For those who are single and hopeful, Venus in Taurus is a patient matchmaker rather than a dramatic matchmaker. She prefers slow introductions and long dinners. She doesn’t respect rushing apps. If you’re watching, look up from the screen and look around the room.
A word on signs of rising
Taurus ascendant has Venus returning to the first house. Between now and May 14th, you can expect an increase in your energy, confidence, and appearance. Scorpio Ascendants receive Venus in the 7th, supporting partnership conversations, but may be slowed down by Mars and Saturn residue. Leo and Aquarius ascendants will get Venus in the 10th or 4th place respectively. This means both career and home receive small, heart-warming gifts.
Repairs are real. Please take it.
