May 14th – June 14th, 2026
On May 14th, the Sun enters the fixed constellation Taurus, changing the quality of the Moon. On the same day, Mercury slows down to Earth and Venus departs into the sky. The sky changes at the same time, but the movement of the sun sets the deepest tone. For the next 30 days until June 14th, the Light of Consciousness will descend upon Fixed Earth. The question shifts from what is possible to what actually exists.
Taurus is a sign of the body, money, beauty, and deep, sometimes stubborn beliefs. The Taurus Sun does not experiment. Evaluate. It wants to know the true value of things. You want to know the actual value you have right now, not the predicted or potential value. For those who have spent Aries season scattered, this transit brings a natural correction. Part of you probably wants to sit down, take stock, and decide what’s worth keeping.
Also note that on the same day that the Sun arrives, Venus, ruler of Taurus, has just departed for Gemini. There is no ruler for the sign. This means that the Sun must manage Taurus without softening the influence of the landlord. The result is a month that is more direct, more independent, and less prone to decoration. You don’t need anyone to confirm your worth. The invitation is to find out for yourself.
Krittika: May 14th to May 24th
The first 10 days fall under the Krittika Nakshatra in the Taurus part. Kritika is ruled by Agni, the god of fire, and has the nature of a sharpened blade. Accurate. Be clear. Be generous when you need it. The important thing is that the Sun is the planetary ruler of Krittika. Therefore, the Sun finds true authority here in its own nakshatra, even in other signs. This is your window to make sharp financial decisions, uncover what’s not working in your material life, and cut out things that cost you more than you’re getting. Don’t be surprised if these 10 days involve some frank conversations about money, property, shared resources, or what you owe to others or yourself. Krittika’s clarity is a gift. Please use it.
Rohini: May 24th to June 7th
Around May 24, the Sun enters Rohini, one of the most beautiful Nakshatras in the zodiac. Rohini is the place where the moon is exalted, where the creator Brahma is active, and where abundance, fertility, and sensual beauty are the central energies. The Sun here is more forgiving, tends to be more about pleasure and artistry, and is less driven by the need to cut. If Kritika asked you to evaluate and prune, Rohini asks you to build slowly and beautifully, paying attention to what actually nourishes you. There is an extraordinary richness to the creative work that takes place in this window. Business decisions made today tend to focus on long-term perspectives rather than quick-fix solutions. Rohini’s shadow is possessiveness. Love for beauty can become an obsession. Please be generous.

A word about Saturn
Saturn is transiting Pisces this year, exerting a gentle third aspect influence across Taurus. This is not a violent transit, but a steady background pressure, reminding us that wherever the Sun moves, responsibility comes with it. For those in power, staying organized is more important than shining this month. Do your patient work.
There are signs that you should pay attention to
for Leo Risingthe Sun transits the 10th house – your career and public status will be illuminated. What you put out professionally this month will arrive. for Scorpio risingthis is the 7th house. Your partnership will become clearer, and things that have not been talked about between you and your loved one will become visible. for Taurus risingthe Sun transits the 1st house, energizing the body and clarifying personal identity. This is a great month to start a healthy routine or take a step closer to becoming the person you want to be.
The Sun in Taurus is not a dramatic transit. It’s grounding. This month’s light asks you to come down from the abstract and get on the real ground – to know what you have, what you need, and what is worth enough to protect. The planets aren’t slowing you down. They teach you to stand.
