Venus will pass within 3 degrees of South Node Ketu, the planet of the intensely spiritual monks, from July 7th to 15th, 2026, and on July 11th it will be located approximately 7 degrees 48 minutes of the Mean Node system of fixed stars Leo. This is a significant conjunction as both Venus and Ketu meet in Magha Nakshatra, the constellation of the royal ancestors ruled by the Pitri devas. This layer deepens the usual Ketu-Venus story considerably. The karma of past lives that surfaces here has its roots not only in the history of personal relationships, but also in ancestral patterns and soul inheritance passed down through lifetimes.
Ketu or the South Node is a combination of all our past lives, the events and ideas of all our incarnations, the unresolved energies that propel us into the future. They don’t have heads, they feel with their hearts, and they react instinctively, emotionally, and intuitively rather than intellectually. Ketu’s deepest purpose is to connect the conscious mind to the subconscious mind and unravel the mysteries that unlock our spiritual quest. Ketu is the symbol of karaka, or moksha, or enlightenment. As the soul seeks liberation, it tends to reject and let go of worldly pleasures in search of an altered state where there is no pain and only eternal happiness.
When Ketu meets Venus, the planet of love, beauty, relationships and wealth, the urge for liberation runs directly through the realm of human desire. Ketu conjunct Venus will temporarily weaken Sinha (Leo) and cause delays and setbacks in relationships, love for lost causes, unconventional relationships, reproductive complications, sexual imbalance, and partner dysfunction.
Socially, the person will be reserved and indifferent to activities that do not have a useful purpose. During this period, your emotional, social, romantic, and artistic perspectives are subdued. Your business may slow down and you may experience financial problems. It’s not a very auspicious time to get married. If you are married, there may be a sense of isolation in your partnership. Until July 15th, try to avoid conflicts as much as possible.
If you were born with this combination, it can create unresolved past life relationships that are unhappy and painful. You may attract mental or emotional partners with a great deal of baggage, and you may change partners frequently or reject them for fear of being rejected yourself.

Those with Leo, Libra, and Taurus rising will feel this transit most directly. Leo rising feels the conjunction in the 1st house as a withdrawal on the identity level. Libra rising experience Ketu transits through the 11th house, affecting profits and social networks. Taurus rising finds this in the 4th house, touching home, family, and peace of mind.
But these transits are always a blessing if you dig deep to uncover their meaning. Although you may feel your artistic energy waning, use this time to pursue artistic innovation or create spiritual art or music. This year’s Magha placement opens even more unusual doors.
