Last week, SVP launched its annual appeal. We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who has supported us thus far. Every donation we receive at this time of year is a helping hand to those most in need.

Radio and TV presenters Marty Whelan, Mary Kennedy and Doyrian Garrihy are also among our esteemed colleagues who attended the launch event to show their support for the annual appeal. We wanted to share a video of this event with you to help you understand why our work is so important to the Association.

Unfortunately, the launch event also highlighted expectations that this year’s number of calls is expected to surpass last year’s record of 250,000. It’s a dignified appearance.

The people on the end of these calls are struggling with basic necessities and wondering if they will actually be able to celebrate Christmas this year.

In order to reach as many people as possible, we need the help of supporters like you. Every donation, big or small, can be just what another family needs to get through this winter.
