Naomi Osaka brought high fashion to the clay courts of Roland Garros during the 2026 French Open, turning heads with not one but two custom looks created by designer Kevin Germania in collaboration with stylist Marty Harper.
Competing for the first time, Osaka took to the court wearing a bronze sequined peplum jacket and black tulle skirt. Both are made from remade Nike clothing. Created in collaboration with designer Nguyen Thien Truyen, this look builds on previous designs the two worked on together, reimagined through Germania’s signature lens of sustainable luxury.
The second look continued in the same spirit, pairing a puff-sleeve top with gold and bronze sequins and a dramatic flowing ivory tulle skirt, once again made entirely of upcycled Nike pieces. The combination of sporting tradition and haute couture-level construction created one of the tournament’s most talked-about court entrances.
Both looks highlighted the growing buzz at the intersection of sports and fashion, as Osaka continues to establish herself as one of the most glamorous style forces in professional tennis.
