I Tried on Zara’s Linen Trousers and I’m Completely Sold

I was looking for the perfect pair of linen pants, the best part of an adult life. I have a small, hourglass figure. I’ve learned to love my body, but that doesn’t mean that my pants have made shopping easier. In many cases, pairs that fit around the waist are too large at the waist. That way, what fits my abdomen seems to be clinging to my thighs. It’s an endless struggle. Still, I am an optimist and did not give up hope of finding the perfect pair and fitting. Linen pants always belong to you at this time of year, and their charm endures all summer. But this is not this year. As part of our six-annual series, A great attemptI headed to my local Zara store and tried out new seasons of the brand for myself. They looked chic on the hangers. It’s heavier than the regular linen pants you see on the High Street, so it makes them look more premium. And I knew they were a touch on my 5’3″ frame for a long time, as all Zara pants tend to do so, but I don’t think it’s anything to complain about.

To stay on topic, let’s talk about what happened in the changing room. From the moment I pulled these linen pants I knew I was in the winner. Picking up the medium (I can fluctuate between it and the extra big pants of Zara’s pants), I was pleased they fit. Not only that, they fit the way I want it to. It’s pinched between my hips, loose enough around my hips and buttocks, comfortable to wear without being too big, stomping on the feet of my pants, creating a long, elongated look that looks like my shape. I wore them on a chunky wooden sole platform that let them take a rough look on the ground.

No one knew, but I was pregnant for 10 weeks and was suffering from bloating. As these pants are the absolute best, it took countless attempts to find items that suited me but did not highlight my growing bumps. Knowing I have a lot to do is these are the only reasons why I haven’t returned with me, but I’ve been thinking about it ever since. So much so, I’m investing in a larger size pair, so I think I can at least wear them for some of the summer 2025.

I’m glad that I didn’t overlook this pair, especially after spending years avoiding trying on linen pants, all of my past experiences are not that positive. And you need to share something very good.
