I just saw Louis Vuitton’s latest innovation, Silk Tech, and I thought I had to share it with you. Introduced during the Fall/Winter 2026 menswear show as part of a collection designed by Pharrell Williams, this new fabric is state-of-the-art craftsmanship at its finest.

The hybrid twill weave of silk and recycled nylon (an ultra-strong structural material that interweaves silk and nylon) has a silk-like texture and is water repellent, anti-fray, and wrinkle-resistant. Reimagining iconic silhouettes like the Speedy, Keepall and men’s ready-to-wear. Oh, the funny thing is, it could be mistaken for leather.
