African fashion is once again taking center stage in Paris.

Until July 8, Africa Now returns to the Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann store for its second edition, transforming the iconic department store into a destination for contemporary African design. Located on the third floor below the landmark Coupole, the pop-up features a carefully selected selection of ready-to-wear, handbags, jewelry and accessories from 11 designers who represent the richness, diversity and innovation of fashion on the African continent.

The opening gala drew a crowd of fashion insiders and tastemakers, including Grammy Award-winning artist Angelique Quijo, international model Maria Borges, former Miss Ivory Coast Olivia Yasse, Chioma Ikoku, Tenika B and Candice Marie, highlighting the growing global interest in Africa’s influence on fashion and luxury retail.

This year’s edition was curated in collaboration with Adama Paris, CANEX x Tranoï and African Fashion Up x Studio Ka, bringing together a dynamic mix of established labels and emerging talent. Designers featured in the showcase include Adama Paris, Ibrahim Fernandes, Sisters of Africa, Christie Brown, Late for Work, Judy Sanderson, We Are NBO, Vanff Vamwe, Eric Raisina, Choir Style and Talua.

Together, these collections highlight the breadth of African creativity, combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary silhouettes, innovative textiles and contemporary storytelling. The exhibition reflects the continued rise of African designers on the international fashion stage and offers Paris shoppers the opportunity to discover brands that are helping to shape the future of fashion globally.

Africa Now will run until July 8, 2026 at the Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann store, 40 Boulevard Haussmann in Paris.
