Bard of Aratai is a new YouTube series from New Zealand-based Dungeons & Dragons channel Dice Legenz. It’s a fast-moving, action-packed adventure told in 12 episodes, each between 20 and 30 minutes long.
The story revolves around three vigilante bards: the Kalahari Bells (court theater (Veteran Monique Clemenson) is a charming troubadour who hides her beauty behind sunglasses so that her gaze doesn’t literally break your heart. Zozo Cadence (Raylen Rose Hiraga – Dungeons & Comedians) A disguise expert who wields a ukulele. and Evelyn Havok (Crystal O’Gorman – Dungeons & Comedians) A person who likes breaking things.
Dice Legenz has a successful Kickstarter campaign in November 2024. This campaign funded the series’ post-production. In the first episode, viewers are thrust into the action as the Bards pursue a slippery messenger carrying a dramatic potion. From there, mystery and adventure take us on a fascinating journey through Dice Legenz’s unique setting: the magnificent walled city of Aratai. We visit seedy underground taverns, glittering mansions, and dangerous hideouts.
Dice Legenz is a group of professional actors, creatives and technicians from the New Zealand television and stage industry. they started streaming Dungeons & Dragons Twitch content from 3 years ago. Bard of Aratai is our first YouTube-focused series.
“We want to connect with our audience on YouTube, but not many people go there to watch three hours of live gameplay unless they have a really good reason. important role” says producer and DM Vahid Qualls. Bard of Aratai. “So we created a show that would be more digestible to YouTube viewers, offering 20 to 30 minutes of pure fun and action, with detailed editing, immersive music and sound, and the magic of when a spell pops. Visual effects are scattered throughout.
