Modiphius Entertainment announced today that it is developing a board game destiny.
Coming to Kickstarter later this year, Modiphius will offer backers two editions of the board game. DOOM | Arena Board Gamesbased on the original destiny (1993) Video games, Fate: Dark Ages | Arena Board Gamebased on the franchise’s latest rave review title, Destiny: Dark Ages. Both games use the same ruleset, and the campaign includes various expansions that cover enemies found in both games, such as Atlan Mech and Mecha Dragon.
DOOM | Arena Board Games and Fate: Dark Ages | Arena Board Game It offers a quick competitive game where players face off against either Doom Slayer or a Horde of Devils and tear apart on various battlefields. With devastating weapons and huge demonic hosts drawn directly from the inventive series, players will fight in three rounds, increase their stakes and decorate the hexagon-based arena with their opponent’s give!
Modiphius will be offering a demo of an early version of the miniature board game at this year’s Gen Con and Quakecon. The final versions of both board games will be available at a later date.
