Low’s Alan Sparhawk has announced that he will follow up on his 2024 solo debut. White rose, my goda new album has been recorded with fellow Duluth musicians trampled on by the Turtles. It was tracked at Pakidam Studios in Cannon Falls, Minnesota at the end of 2023. You’ll be trampled down with a turtle It’ll be released on May 30th Sub-pop. It is led by a stunning “stranger” with a lush voice. Check out the attached video below and scroll down through the album cover and track list.
The stomping by the Turtles has performed with the Sparahawk many times over the years. “There’s a certain vibe that comes from small towns that involves losing syndrome,” Sparhawk said in a press release. “Some of it is a strange ground grind that is found in the mercy of Mother Nature, and it humbles you. It humbles you.”
