Mississippi’s experimental punk outfits have announced a new EP, There is no separationUntil May 23rd ul. The band Nick Panera co-produced the bodies Julian Cashwan Pratt and Harlan Steel with Show Me The Show Me. It is led by a single ‘angel’, “It’s a Secret” is just as catchy as his recent collaboration with Power Pop Wizard. Check out the director Alex TielVideos for the video below.
“Most of our music is really inspired by our relationships with each other,” Panera said in a press release. “We try to combine different musical philosophies, marry them, embrace their differences, and create our own communities where we can actually thrive. Ultimately, it’s not about navigating your inner world directly around you, and the inner world of those around you, until you learn what you’ve learned before, and not about creating something new.”
“We met Show the Body in Los Angeles while on tour, and we went to visit this creepy studio where they’re doing ‘writing camps’,” bassist Randy Riley added. “We didn’t even know what it was – no one in Hattiesburg has done a writing camp. But it became this really weird and cool experience. And we saw Julian and Harlan show some of the things we were working on.
Commenting on “Angel,” singer Dee Dee said: “That’s definitely different from the way I usually write for a band. It’s something you can sing along, but that’s what you’re telling yourself.
