18 year old pop singer/songwriter from South Florida, living in Los Angeles. sandra mayer Announces debut EP with shimmering and delicate tracks “If you know” It’s out now. While the official title and artwork are yet to be revealed, Mayer promises a project that explores young femininity through confessional lyricism and intimate, vibrant production, with the goal of making other young women feel seen and heard.
Mayer views the production of her upcoming projects as a pivotal growth and learning experience that will document her growth. Meyer explains: “This EP is a collection of entries from my teenage girlhood, documenting everything I went through and how it affected me. Explore my confusion, delusions, overthinking, and all the moments that helped me learn more about myself. This is so special to me because each of these songs talks about experiences that not only I’ve had, but that many other young girls can relate to, and that’s the part I’m most proud of about all of this. ”
I’m proud to present these brilliant tracks that represent the best version of myself, and I give credit to the producers for creating such a welcoming and warm environment. Mr. Mayer’s stock; ““When You Know” is really special to me because it was one of the first songs where I was able to completely translate my emotions into a song. I’ve been writing for a while, but this song felt most like me because I wrote it alone in my bedroom on the piano. ”
In collaboration with her producer, “Working with producer Aron was such a new and exciting experience. He taught me so much and I was able to be a part of the process from start to finish. It was incredibly rewarding to see the song grow from just a voice memo to a finished track.”
Describing the gentle lyric video set in a small Hungarian town, Mayer continues: “Shooting Visualizer was a very fun experience. We shot in a beautiful winery town in Hungary and it really had a fairytale feel to it. I could even wear a little crown and daydream out the window. I think it perfectly captures the dream-like bittersweet feelings of teenage love and the longing and wonder that comes with it. ”
