When it comes to purchasing angel cards, there are plenty of options. But having this much variety can be a double-edged sword.
On the other hand, the wide variety of cards means you can choose from many beautiful decks with all sorts of unique themes, authors, and focuses… Something for everyone!
But on the other hand, too many options can lead to confusion when choosing which card is the right one to order.
I’ll be the first to admit that when I first started using it as an intuitive card reader, I was a little overwhelmed by the amount of options and at times even felt like: I wanted to buy the entire angel card deck.This is not an economical option, nor is it useful when using oracle cards to bring accurate and meaningful intuitive guidance.
I also spent countless hours admiring decks at New Age bookstores and crystal stores. (I worked at that company for many years, so that was helpful) I try out as many new decks as I can, even blacking out the text on the back of the card boxes of unopened decks.
I’ve also had the experience of finding a deck that looked great on the surface, but when I opened it up, the cards in it just didn’t resonate or feel right.

What is an angel card?

Angel cards are a fortune-telling tool.
That’s right, they tool. they are It’s not a magical way to connect with angels.or to speak of the future, just as a garden trowel is not a magical way to grow a garden.
But just as angel cards can help you receive angelic guidance, a garden trowel can certainly help when it comes to gardening.
The process of receiving intuitive guidance using angel cards and oracle cards (I use these two terms interchangeably) This is called angel card reading. This is a type of fortune telling, a skill that anyone can learn and develop.

Are angel cards the same as tarot cards?
Yes and no. Angel card reading is cartomancywhich is a fancy way of saying fortune-telling using playing cards.
There is a structured cartomancy system that can be used with regular playing cards and tarot cards, where every card has a meaning assigned to it.
Or, if you don’t need to memorize all the card meanings in advance and want a slightly more free-form style, you can use a deck of Angel Oracle cards.

This is a great deck that I’ve enjoyed reading myself and often recommend to my Angel Intuition students.
