Friday, April 18th

“Center Aging Friday Tea Time” Zoom will take 2pm. This is a social time for older LGBTQ+ adults. Guests are encouraged to bring their chosen drinks. For more information, please send an email [email protected].

Hosted by Go Gay DC “LGBTQ+ Community Social in the City” 7pm at Hotel Zena. This event is ideal for creating new friends, professional networking, ideas sharing, and community building. This event is free and details are available at EventBrite.

Trans and Gender Game Night It will be held at 6pm at the DC Center of the LGBT community. This will be a relaxing, relaxing night of games and fun. Everything is welcome and you have cards and board games on hand. Feel free to share your game. For more information, please visit the DC Center Website.

Saturday, April 19th

Hosted by Go Gay DC “LGBTQ+ Community Brunch” 11am at Freddie’s Beach Bar & Restaurant. This fun weekly event brings together the DMV area LGBTQ+ community, including allies, for delicious food and conversation. Attendees are free and detailed EventBrite.

People from LGBTQ Color Support Group Zoom will take you to 7pm. This peer support group is an outlet for LGBTQ people of color to come together to talk about what’s impacting in a space where they strive to be safe and judged. There are all kinds of activities, including watching movies, poetry events, storytelling, spending time with others. “Spark Sapphic Social” It’s 8pm at Spark Social House. This weekly Sapphic Social is your chance to mix and mix with other sapphics at DC’s latest LGBTQ bar. This event is free and details are available at EventBrite.

“DC Drug Branch on the Roof – Penthouse (formerly Remtwist) will be held at 12pm on the baby shank rooftop. It will be hosted by Miss Capital Pride. This is the ultimate drug brunch experience in Washington, DC. Whitney Houston, Shale, etc. are available for $27 EventBrite.

Sunday, April 20th

Queer Crayon Club Hosting “Queer Sketch Social” at 3pm on Sinners and Saints. This is a fun event where LGBTQ+ adults gather and color. Attendees are free and detailed EventBrite.

Monday, April 21st

“Center Aging Monday Coffee & Conversation” Zoom in to 10am. This is a social time for older LGBTQ+ adults. Guests are encouraged to bring their chosen drinks. For more information, please send an email [email protected].

Tuesday, April 22nd

Gender Care DC Zoom will take you to 7pm. This support group is for people who identify outside of gender binary. Whether you know you’re not Bigender, Agender, Genderfluid, or 100% CI – this is your group. For more information, please visit www.genderqueerdc.org Facebook.

Issuing a discussion group Zoom will take you to 7pm. This is a peer facilitation discussion group, a safe space to share experiences about what comes up and discuss topics related to doing so. See Groups for more information Facebook.

Wednesday, April 23rd

Job Club Zoom will take 6pm. This is a weekly employment support program to help employment participants and seekers, including long-term unemployed, improve their confidence, motivation, resilience and productivity for effective job search and networking, allowing participants to simply move away from becoming “applicants” towards “candidates.” For more information, please send an email [email protected] Or visit thedcenter.org/careers.

Asexual and aromatic discussion groups Zoom will take you to 7pm. This is a space where people who question this aspect of their identity, or identify them asexual and/or aromatic, can come together to share stories and experiences and discuss a variety of topics. Thursday, April 24th

Virtual yoga with Sara M Zoom will take you to 7pm. This is a free weekly class focusing on yoga, breathing work and meditation. For more information, please visit the DC Center of the LGBT Community Website.

DC Anti-Violence Project The open meeting will be held at 7pm on Zoom. The conference is open to those interested in learning more and being involved in reducing violence, both in the LGBT community and in targeted areas. For more information, please see Facebook or Twitter.
