Develop a powerful spiritual nighttime routine
A night routine is a series of things that lead to sleep.

Even though nighttime routines are extremely important, they aren’t often talked about.
On the other hand, having a solid morning routine is an idea that has taken the world by storm.
Entrepreneurs, leaders, and social media influencers are all working on optimizing (and sharing) their morning routines.
But while a strong “morning routine” is widely touted to support clarity and success, a strong evening routine is less commonly considered.
This is a missed opportunity, especially since so many people today struggle to fall asleep (or stay asleep at night).
How you prepare for sleep has a huge impact on how well you sleep, what your subconscious mind processes during sleep, and, as a result, how clear and refreshed you wake up in the morning. .

Here are three main benefits of having a strong spiritual nighttime routine:

So what does it take to create a successful spiritual nighttime routine?
The top 11 elements of my spiritual night routine are:
Scientific research has shown that artificial light at night (especially blue light) It can also negatively affect your sleep and lead to depression and illness.
To counter this, my key elements are: night routine When the sun goes down, turn off the lights and dim the lights in your home.
To that end, I spend the night in the house with the exception of a few twinkling lights on the fireplace mantle and a few small Himalayan salt lamps that I keep in the living room and bathroom to provide a soft warmth. Turn off all lights. And a relaxing glow.

10. Step away from the screen.
While we’re talking about night lighting, we also have to talk about staring at screens. Don’t get me wrong, I like watching episodes of TV series in the evening and I like historical series (Does anyone else like Star Trek Discovery? (LOL))or read a book on my phone or Kindle.

That being said, it’s a good idea to completely stop using screens for at least 20 to 30 minutes before bed to allow yourself time to deeply relax and drift off to sleep.

9. Turn off WiFi!
Today, we are almost constantly surrounded by a type of EMF radiation called WiFi.
Of course, WiFi is meant to keep your devices connected to the internet, but it’s also well known that it’s a type of microwave frequency that can be dangerous if used in large quantities.
Turning off your WiFi router when you go to bed is a great way to limit exposure and free your body from these electromagnetic frequencies while you sleep.
Turning off my Wifi router hasn’t always been a priority for me, but after trying it for a while, I’ve noticed that I sleep deeper and wake up more refreshed at night when I turn off my Wifi router. Ta. .

8. Herbal allies for relaxation and sleep
To further aid relaxation, I often drink a mug of warm, relaxing herbal tea in the evening.

Essential oils are another great way to utilize the relaxing plant family. So I sometimes diffuse lavender essential oil or just add a drop of a relaxing essential oil like lavender, chamomile, or trunk or chamomile. Apply Ruta Vala to your wrists and temples to change the tone and signal it’s time to relax and start preparing for sleep.

7. Prepare for tomorrow…
Often people wake up at night because they have unfinished business for the day, or when they lie down to sleep they worry about what they have to do tomorrow. To combat this, take some time before bed to prepare for the next day.
For me, this usually looks like soaking oatmeal to prepare for breakfast in the morning, washing the blender, or cleaning up the kitchen so that I have a clean slate tomorrow.
You can also write down your top three priorities for tomorrow in a notebook, or even write down the questions you need to consciously let go of and let your subconscious mind process and figure out the details while you sleep.

6. Stretch and relax

5. Evening hygiene
Before bed, part of my nightly routine includes brushing and flossing (fluoride and glycerin free toothpaste) rub your tonguegargle with salt water.

4. Check in to the night sky
Before I go to bed, I make it a habit to take a moment to look up at the night sky.
Sometimes you just need to go outside, lay down on a blanket on the deck, and look up. It can also be as simple as taking a moment to stand at your window and stare at a cloud-filled sky.
Either way, I love this simple ritual of reconnecting with the sky and the natural world before bed.
I love observing the differences in the seasons and the stars and constellations that jump out at me as if they contain a message. When this happens, take a moment and tune into that starlight transmission…
Stargazing gives me a sense of the vastness of the multiverse, the grand creation of the Source I live in, the immense support of Spirit, my star family, and the guides and angels who are always there for me. , you can recall.
Darkness is essential for deep sleep. Darkening your bedroom sends signals to your brain and body that it’s time for rest and sleep.
I love sleeping in a completely dark room, so I invested in blackout curtains and a snug-fitting sleep mask so I don’t block out everything when I travel or sleep with the door open in the summer. Lights out.

2. End the day with gratitude.

It provides an opportunity to reflect on where you stayed conscious during the day and where you lost your balance and fell into unconscious reactions.
To do a Backward Review Practice, track yourself from the moment you lie in bed, through your bedtime ritual, through the evening, afternoon, morning, and the moment you wake up.
What went well and what went wrong today?
Don’t beat yourself up because of where you fell short…but look at how you were triggered and resolve to do better tomorrow.
After reflecting on your day…relax your mind, relax your body, and fall into a deep, soothing sleep.
