Refy Water Bronzer + Blush Review

Refy has launched a new blush product with one of the most innovative formulas I’ve tried this year. We got an early preview of this a month ago, and we’re excited to finally be able to share it.

they just dropped a new one water bronzer ($30) and water blush ($24) It comes in cushion form and feels like a completely different take on blush and bronzer compared to what’s currently in my collection. They also duo brush 2.0 Coinciding with this launch is a liquid blush and bronzer ($26).

Inspired by K-beauty cushion technology, these Korean-made formulas are housed in cushion compacts and deliver sheer yet buildable color and a fresh, skin-like finish. These are water-infused colored cushions floating inside a sponge, which actually makes it easier to apply compared to pump dispenser formats.

I think the tone is beautiful. I hope they eventually expand the shade range to more blush colors because all the colors are so beautiful.

Swatches of all shades are below.

Refy Water Bronzer + Blush Review

water bronzer

It’s rare these days that I get genuinely excited about a new bronzer formula. Over the years, many people have asked me for bronzer recommendations, but until recently, there weren’t many that really stood out to me. For a long time, I relied on Chanel’s tried-and-true products (and I still love them, but unfortunately they’re discontinued). But this year, several brands have introduced formulas that feel truly innovative.

I especially liked the recently released bronzers from Dior and Westman Atelier. Both brought something unique to an often oversaturated category. While Dior’s formula impresses with its exceptional wear time, Westman Atelier’s bronzer has one of the best drydowns of any cream formula I’ve ever experienced.

new refi water bronzer is another product shortlisted. It has a fresh feel that is different from anything currently on the market, and the finish on the skin is very beautiful.

  • bay A light and warm golden bronze
  • cove A cool neutral bronze
  • sol It’s a reddish bronze
  • palm It’s a deep bronze
  • Selene the deepest bronze

You can choose the brightest 3 colors. I think my favorite is probably Cove, although it has a more neutral and cool feel to it. I really like the other two as well. The bay is a perfect golden bronze color and the cove has a slightly tanned bronze shine.

water blush

of water blush I was surprised by the shade as it applies quite sheer on the cheeks considering the intensity of the color which looks compact. You can layer it for even more pigment, but I really like how it looks like watercolor when applied to the cheeks.

  • apricot It’s a pale peach
  • Lychee A bright healthy pink
  • Acai perfect berry

I’m really surprised at how easy these controls are. This color blends into your skin and can be layered from delicate washes to more sculptural and vibrant colors. new Refee Duo Brush 02 This is also nice and makes application easy, but I think you can use anything from your current stash to apply the product. However, we highly recommend using a clean brush to avoid staining the compact sponge with other colors.

skin base

REFY SKIN BASE 170N

I would also like to briefly explain. refi skin base ($40). A lot of people were very excited about this because it’s a gel skin tint. I tried shade 170N, run it here. It has a very transparent and natural skin tone. It has good coverage, but it’s just barely there. Although it is a gel, it has a refreshing feel. It has a thicker feel compared to other skin tints like. Lisa Eldridge or summer friday. For me, this works best with sponges. The coverage is very natural, so you’ll likely need a concealer as well, and if you have combination skin or live in a warm, humid climate, you’ll probably want to set it up with a 100% powder.

I give it 8.5 out of 10 stars. It’s a great product for skin tones, but I prefer something with a little more coverage. It Cosmetics CC+ Nude Glow or Hourglass Veil Hydrating Skin Tint.

New Refy releases can be found at: sephora And again refi beauty.

I received a copy of the Water Collection for review purposes. I purchased the skin base.
