If you have a copy of my book, Eat Beautiful, you know that my skin-first beauty approach includes a diet full of fresh, healthy, seasonal ingredients. But healthy doesn’t mean it has to be boring and bland. That’s why I’m sharing the most nutritious (and delicious) hero foods of the season so you can change up your diet every few months. Summer is the perfect time to include figs in your diet. Figs are high in fiber, which helps them pass through your body quickly and flush toxins from the skin, meaning they’re great for people with psoriasis, acne, and other skin conditions. They also add a natural sweetness to your dishes, making them a healthy alternative to processed sugars. Interested?
