Tommy Hilfiger has developed a lifelong passion for Formula One. When Grand Prix racing came to New York state, where he grew up, the cars, and especially the uniforms, fascinated the young Hilfiger. “When I went to that event in 1965, I was fascinated by the excitement, the hustle and bustle, the fact that it was an international event. I had never been to an international event before,” the 75-year-old told WWD in an earlier story.
In 2026, he’s still doing what he loves, working closely with Lewis Hamilton and being the official fashion sponsor of F1: The Movie, all while immersing himself in the thrilling and prestigious world of motor racing. Just a few days ago, Hilfiger unveiled a limited edition F1 fanwear line ahead of next weekend’s Miami Grand Prix. This, of course, follows Hilfiger’s label’s partnership with Cadillac F1 last June, and the Tommy Hilfiger x F1 Miami release is expected to feature the team’s logo prominently on T-shirts, tube tops, national team jackets and hoodies (a must-have for F1 enthusiasts and Czech fans alike).

Once you’ve got your hands on an occasion-specific bestseller that turns heads from the paddock club to the grandstand, keep an eye out for more Tommy Hilfiger activations at trackside.
“Miami is the perfect backdrop to launch a capsule inspired by the city,” Hilfiger said in a statement. That’s right: there it is. intention A limited edition apparel collection will also be available before this year’s Austin and Las Vegas Grand Prix races.
Maintaining a garage full of single-seater sports cars might be a little beyond your budget at the moment, but with Tommy Hilfiger’s motorsport partnership, it’s easy to become a different kind of collector, thinking clothes instead of cars.
