Adult dinner parties (like a frat party for 6 families) are rare, but I love styling this room. But since we’ve been doing a social campaign here at Anthropologie (some new, some we’ve had for a while), we’ve been playing around with and setting things up for people looking for fall, harvest, or maybe even Thanksgiving table setting ideas.
I really think this is my color palette these days. Blues and greens with accents of deep burgundy and ocher/mustard. It’s all over the house (I can’t wait to show you my new living room next week). The glasses are cafe bowland placemat The color is perfect for the holiday season, so it’s perfect for those who want to use it all year round.

Especially those that scream “autumn/harvest”. salad plate, napkin (doubtful – they can happen more year-round) and candle holder (Very pretty, but very delicate). eyeball vase It’s so incredible – it now lives on my coffee table along with a big black Halloween branch 🙂

I really like it because it’s colorful and soft.

white vase | bowl | harvest plate | dinner plate | plaid napkins | tableware (Similar) | placemat | short green wine glass |Burgundy wine glass (sold out) | burgundy vase | candlestick holder | taper candle (resemble)
This was taken on a day when we were working on about 5 campaigns, and I set it up and told Caitlin to just shoot while I shot something else on video in another room (technically I didn’t need to take a photo, it was so pretty and I love photography, so there was a small vase with no flowers in it, some wonky crockery, some wrinkles, EC – oops!). The flowers are from my garden, NBD:)

vase Yes, it costs money. Great as an heirloom or a gift for someone (probably on sale during the holiday season). I don’t usually style brown gingham napkins with other colors, but I think the brown on the plate and the amber candle help tie everything together.

Some of the pieces mentioned above are no longer available, so we’ve collected a bunch of our favorite harvest/fall tablescape pieces that are new this year. xx

1. carved edge salad plate | 2. Marine botanical stoneware salad plate | 3. STRIMMIG side plate
If you love having different dinnerware sets for each holiday or season, you’ve got even more power. But a little hack to save storage space is to simply change your salad plate. It can be used as an everyday dinner plate while adding a little festive feel.

1. reactive glaze tapas bowl (Set of 4) | 2. stockholm 2025 bowl (Set of 2) | 3. stoneware reaction glaze bowl (Set of 4)
The same applies to bowls, if desired.

Cute glassware never gets old, so if it’s not too “holiday” you can display it all year round as a beautiful piece of home decor.

1. glass beverage pitcher | 2. waldagen pitcher | 3. marble wine chiller
We love pitchers because they can double as actual water jugs and flower vases.

1. eider brown glass bud vase | 2. Amber icon decorative glass bud vase | 3. Essential Stoneware Table Vases
When it comes to vases, we recommend choosing one large main vase and two smaller vases, or just small vases. You want to be able to see and converse with the people on the other side of the table.

1. Alcantara Frédérique Leather Wrapped Candle Holder | 2. Milan Small Green Glass Tapered Candle Holder | 3. Mina Tall Tapered Candle Holder
Hey, are we suckers for great candle holders? It doesn’t block the view, adds dimension, and of course adds atmosphere.

1. plum beeswax candle | 2. pumpkin orange dip taper candle (Set of 2) | 3. acorn beeswax candle (set of 10)
Fun candles are a great way to add that extra dimension. You can choose an interesting shape or just a colorful taper.

1. autumn glass pumpkin (Set of 3) | 2. papier mache pumpkin place card holder (Set of 4) | 3. weave a pumpkin (Set of 6)

Same goes for the placemats, they’re all great.

1. Autumn plaid oversized runner | 2. Marine Spruce Green Buffalo Check Linen Table Runner | 3. Autumn botanical linen runner
If you want to go all out, include runners as well. Alternatively, you can omit the placemat and just use the runner.

1. dutch bread oven | 2. Floral Porcelain Soup Tureen | 3. Wave edge soup terrine
Of course, a cute lidded dish for food that “needs to be kept warm” can be aesthetically pleasing, right?

1. Oval stoneware floral serving dish | 2. Large stoneware cabbage serving bowl | 3. floral ceramic serving dish
And we think platters are where your personality can really shine. Are you a “colorful folk”? A “whimsical produce lover”? “New Classic”? A platter will get you there 🙂

1. Le Creuset Pumpkin Butter Dish | 2. carved edge gravy boat | 3. Stoneware butter dish with knife
And finally, it might be nice to have some nice butter or gravy on the table. That sweet Le Creuset One Although it is expensive, it is something that can be passed down.
That’s what makes festive tableware so special. Even these dishes, vases, and table linens create so many memories that the next generation will probably want to have at least some of them in their home. Decoration is what leaves memories and that’s what we love. Everyone, have fun setting the table!
