A Peek into March

Welcome to my monthly posts that take a peek at our home last month! Take a quick peek into March… (and yes, I know the first thing in May. I know that I’m finally going to do this… I had so many good intentions to get it up early, and that’s happening now! Well!)

I started that month at Disney with a great group of women who are my business coach clients, Alli Worthingtonand some of her clients. Allie has been so dedicated to my life and our business. I have been so excited to see what God had for me on this holiday since I started coaching with her.

For example, I wasn’t a bit disappointed! We laughed so hard and enjoyed it (it was so good for my soul!), but I also learned a lot from other clever women.

Alli constitutes an event, so there is a lot of fun, but there is also time for coaching and mentoring. I came home, refreshed and also had so much inspiration for how to lead my company better.

I’ll share more On this podcast, I learned some amazing lessons at Disney (Who knew that a trip to Disney would be a very deep and moving experience?)

We had a fun hangout in the library playroom with my friends, Kate and her kids!

This picture reminds us of how God writes stories that we will never dream of! On the same day this photo was taken almost four years ago, we were with two little girls… and maybe four years later we could have imagined it.

I was able to meet Dr. Sandra Dalton Smith and Interview her for a podcast episode. Listen to our conversation here.

At the beginning of 2025, I set my goal to try and create 12 new things I’ve never made before. (See this list.)

In January, my project was to make homemade vanilla. The February project was to make homemade focaccia using sourdough starters.

I love everything about cinnamon and sugar so I decided to try this recipe Sourdough Act for Cinnamon Roll Focaccia. I’ve learned almost everything I know about baking sourdough from the act of sourdough, but she hasn’t made me wrong yet. See how it turned out here.

Kathryn and I went on a spring break trip to Palms Island, South Carolina. It was absolutely beautiful, we had the most relaxed and fun time together, walking miles, enjoying the ocean, eating delicious food, and spending time together.

We walked to Harris Teaser and found a crazy sale!!

While we were there we had the most incredibly inspiring experience. I wrote more about it on Instagram here.

I spent a lot of time on the sidelines at a baseball game in March. Jesse is an assistant coach for Silas’ JV and high school teams this year, so all three young children were alone in most games. However, this year is much easier than last year!!

Jesse and I continued on ABC dates and went to Olive Garden for O Date (it’s been years since we went to one!). I’ll share In this post I find time to go on a date now.

Mika loves butter and chases after me! 🙂

If you wonder what it was like to take these three to the doctor!!

The month was concluded with a leadership team meeting with three directors at MoneySavingMom.com. These are the women who make everything happen here and I am very grateful to each of them!

We had a fun day filled with planning our manis and pedi, dining at my favorite local location and throwing x!

And we We launched our latest program in March to achieve our big goals: teenage hour budget! PSST! Want to get a coupon code for just $19? Sign up for this giveaway.
