I love how my boyfriend sent me fresh bouquets every two weeks by the florist. It’s the sweetest gesture. I’m always looking forward to seeing what they’ve made for me! Fridamy florist, knowing I’m a pink sucker in the arrangement, I can only smile the moment the flowers arrive at my doorstep. This time, she absolutely nailed the fall vibe with her wonderful mix of fall vibes. I don’t know how she can combine all the textures and bloom so beautifully, but somehow the arrangements always take her breath! Step inside to see the trends in autumn flowers…

  • Warm and rustic color palette
Think deep rust, burnt orange, mustard yellow, browns, olive green, and burgundy tones. These colors evoke a cozy autumn mood and are everywhere in bouquets, centerpieces and wedding flowers.

  • Moody & Jewel Tone Flowers
A touch of dark purple, deep red, emerald and gold and copper in rich hues. It’s dramatic, elegant and a little mystical. Perfect if you want something impressive.

  • Bold Bloom + Delicate Accent
Combine the flowers of the big statement (think Dahlias, Chrysanthemums, Bold Roses) with more delicate textured seed pods, small filler flowers, and dried grass. Contrast adds depth and visual interest.

  • Textures, wilds, and natural arrangements
A design that shows a little more organic asymmetric bouquet, wild flower mix, foraging leaves, branches, berries and dried elements. It was hard and “freshly chosen from the edge of the forest.”

  • Dried and preserved flowers
They are extremely popular because they last, have a texture and give you a rustic, vintage feel. Pampas grass, decorative kale, preserved leaves, something that can be used in arrangements without the need for frequent watering.

  • Seasonal leaves and unexpected colors
Using leaves such as eucalyptus, ivy, or decorative kale, the maple leaves due to texture and structure. It also adds unexpected colors such as soft lavender, a surprising shade of burnt orange, or small bright pops between muted tones.

  • Solid color or toned down design
The different shades of a single hue are refined and elegant. It also combines with a neutral container choice (cream, amber, earth tone) to make the flowers shine without visual clutter.

  • Sustainability and local sourcing
Big things: locally grown flowers, environmentally friendly materials (non-dural foam, biodegradable wrapping), foraging elements, low waste. Flower designers are leaning heavily towards this.
