Tiffany Haddish returned to Late Night with Seth Meyers and completely stole the show with her nonstop laughs, outrageous stories, and major career milestones that have marked her since childhood. The Emmy and Grammy Award-winning comedian, actress, and best-selling author known for hits like Girls Trip, Afterparty, and Bad Boys: Ride or Die is officially one of the cover stars of the 2026 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.

Tiffany walked on stage with a look of confidence and humor, joking that she was “like a layered onion” as she showed off her stunning cover look. She revealed that when she first agreed to do the photoshoot, she was told it would be in a small corner tucked away in the magazine, but instead ended up making history as the first comedian ever to appear in the iconic swimsuit issue.

The actress hilariously explained that appearing in sports illustrated In fact, it was a lifelong dream of hers, dating back to her childhood track and field days, when she competed in the high jump and shot put. Tiffany even said that her grandmother, who was a pioneering black swimsuit model in California in the 1950s, unwittingly inspired her modeling dreams years ago. Tiffany said that despite being told she wasn’t “model-tall,” she expressed the occasion with pure faith and determination, as well as by enlisting fans to write handwritten letters to magazines on her behalf.

After joking about her “hunting season” at NFL Honors, the conversation quickly devolved into classic Tiffany Haddish comedy. There, she hilariously mispronounced New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel’s name as “Mike Variable,” and athletes are said to have flooded her with their phone numbers. Tiffany admitted that she did background checks on all of her athletes before emailing them, and proudly declared that she would spend $1,000 on them, but “never spend more than $20 on a guy.”

She also had the audience crying with laughter as she talked about her trip to Mexico for a swimsuit shoot, her obsession with “real sugar” Oreos outside the U.S., and her fascination with koalas, turtles, and animal mating rituals in the very unfiltered corner that only Tiffany can pull off.

Later in the interview, Tiffany excitedly teased Girls Trip 2 and hilariously offered Seth Meyers the role of her funny-talking freeloader boyfriend. The two even performed a fake audition scene live on air that included eggs, cheating, and an outrageous joke that brought viewers to tears.

From comedy queen to swimsuit cover star, Tiffany Haddish continues to prove that no one can do it like she does.
