TLC’s Rozonda “Chili” Thomas and actor Matthew Lawrence are opening up to Tam Pham, sharing sweet and intimate details about their real-life love story and the exciting new chapter they’re writing together on screen. Chilli and Matthew, who have been happily together since 2022, co-host the heartwarming series, which follows five couples who reunite in the breathtaking surroundings of Sardinia, Italy. Each pair, ranging in age from their 30s to their 70s, are connected by relationships that ended five to 40 years ago and embark on a two-week journey filled with nostalgia, emotional honesty, romantic dates, and a chance to rekindle something they once cherished deeply.
“At the end of this experience, five couples will have to make big decisions,” Lawrence says. “Will they leave separately or together? This series could really be a signature love story for them.”

David Stefanou, head of unscripted programming at Hallmark Media, points out that nearly 80 percent of first loves who reunite end up staying together long-term, underscoring the timeless power of undying love.
“Is there love in the air? We’re about to find out,” Lawrence says in the show’s first trailer. Chili added with a smile, “The next two weeks will be filled with romantic adventures and relationship-renewing experiences. After all, how can you not fall in love in a place like this?”
