Kelly Rowland has opened up about returning to tour the US for the first time in 15 years, saying the experience was pure joy. “It was so much fun,” she said. “Mrs. Obama came, the ladies of Destiny’s Child came, my best friend Lala came, so a lot of people came to support us.”
Kelly will also be working on a new project Relationship goals!revealed her character to be strong, driven, and unapologetically tough. She plays the showrunner, who comes face-to-face with a character from her past named Mike Todd, a real-life pastor and author whose book inspired the film.
She also talks about working closely with her husband, who is her manager, and admits that while it’s not always easy, clear boundaries and strong communication work well together. “He is the perfect person for this job,” she says.
As a faith-based film, Relationship goals! It centers around love, purpose, and self-reflection. Kelly explains that this encourages people to take a closer look at what they are aiming for in life and relationships. Because sometimes you simply need to revise your goals.
